Mother and child deer grazing. The young one appears relaxed, but Mom has her eye on us.

This photo was taken in central Florida, not in the Otter Banks of North Carolina.
This is the first otter I've seen in a hole in the ground. Previously I've seen otters only in or very near water. Sitting in the sun like this he/she otter by dry by now.
