73 A resting boat in a restful scene in Provincetown harbor. I love the little wave reflections along the hull. And this scene wraps up the “picture show.” Speaking of “picture show,” Jodi and I were in Sandwich yesterday and I asked a shopkeeper for a rest room, and he told me there was one at the “filling station” around the corner. I hadn’t heard anyone use the term “filling station” in probably sixty years. Cape Cod is different, as is Massachusetts. In NY, when driving and approaching a town, a “Populated Area” sign may so indicate. In MA, such an approach would have a sign that says “Thickly Settled.” We are definitely a nation of individual states.
